BCX Token: Fee Discounts and Staking
BCX is the Bicoince exchange token. Its supply and burn history are shown on this page.
What is BCX?
BCX is the Bicoince exchange token. It launched with a genesis supply of 200,000,000 and a designed floor of 100,000,000, and it is used inside the exchange rather than as a governance right: holding or staking it unlocks maker and taker discounts on top of your VIP tier, and it can be staked from this page to earn a rate.
Has any BCX actually been burned yet?
No. The burn programme is designed but has not started, and nothing has been burned to date — this page shows the live figure and the status alongside it. Two mechanisms are planned when it does begin: a quarterly auto-burn sized by an on-chain formula, and a real-time burn of part of each transaction gas fee, both continuing until the 100,000,000 floor is reached. Until that starts, BCX is not a deflating supply, and anything describing it as one is ahead of the facts.
What does holding or staking BCX give me?
Two things. Holding or staking reduces your maker and taker fees beyond what your VIP tier already gives, so it stacks with 30-day volume rather than replacing it. Staking also earns a rate, which is set on this page and paid on the amount staked; unstaking returns the balance and stops it earning immediately.
Where can I trade BCX?
On Bicoince, as a spot market against USDT like any other listed pair. It is an exchange token rather than a general-purpose one, so treat any BCX offered elsewhere with suspicion and check the market here first.
