You send to the person, the transfer settles as a balanced ledger movement between the two accounts, and it lands in their Spot wallet — there is no network fee and no confirmation wait because nothing goes on chain.

How do I request a payment from someone?

Create a payment request for the asset and amount, and share the code or QR it produces. The person paying sees what they are paying for before they confirm, and both sides get a receipt they can open afterwards, so the record does not depend on either of you remembering the transfer.

Can I use Bicoince Pay to receive from an outside wallet?

No. Pay moves value between Bicoince accounts, so both sides need an account and the recipient is resolved by their email. Funding from outside the platform is a deposit, which is a different flow — use it first, then pay from the balance it credits.
