Crypto Gift Splits

Lock one amount into escrow and hand it out as equal claimable shares with a code or QR. Shares nobody claims are reclaimable by the sender.

What is a Bicoince gift split?

A single amount you lock up front and hand out as several equal claimable shares. You choose the asset, the total and how many shares it splits into, and you get one code and a QR to share — each person who opens it claims one share, and nobody can claim twice.

Where does the money sit before it is claimed?

In escrow. Creating the split moves the whole total out of your balance immediately and holds it, so a share that someone claims is already funded rather than being a promise against your wallet. That is also why you cannot create a split larger than what you actually hold.

What happens to the shares nobody claims?

They come back to you. The unclaimed remainder is reclaimable by the sender, and the page shows how many of the shares are still outstanding so you can see what is left before you take it back. Nothing is stranded in escrow permanently.

Are the shares random amounts?

No. Every share in a split is the same size — the total divided by the number of shares. There is no lottery mode and no weighted draw, so what the first person claims is exactly what the last person claims.
